About Me

My Why

I was able to come home and farm full time and raise my children the same way I was.  Through them I get to see them witness the daily miracles that only happen on farms.  At the same time, I get to spend every day working with my father and 2 brothers.  It’s not easy. Working with family isn’t, but they are the people who love and support me no matter what.  At the end of the day, we are able to grow food that not only feeds our family but our community.

My Mission

My mission is to ensure that I have done enough to support my family and community through the family farm. I believe that family farms are essential to the fabric of our nation and must be protected, conserved, and made profitable.  I am committed to safeguarding food security, knowing that it is integral to national security and that no one should go to bed hungry.

My Service

I represent District 3 (So. MD.) on the Maryland Farm Bureau board of directors and serve on the executive committee. I have also served on the Labor Committee for multiple years and am the current chair. I have represented Maryland Farm Bureau at the AFBF fly-in and am an active member of the GO Team. I am a strong advocate for a variety of farm bill issue areas, including labor, SNAP benefits and programs that aid those facing food insecurity, all areas I interact with daily on our farm.
